We are pleased to announce that Professor Dr. Athanasios Orphanides (from MIT), the 7^th Chairholder of TIAC (Tun Ismail Ali Chair) will pay his third visit to the Faculty of Economics and Administration, University of Malaya from 8^th December 2019 (Sunday) to 13^th December 2019 (Friday).

Professor Athanasios’ areas of research included central banking, finance, monetary policy as well as political economy, and has published extensively on these topics. He has also contributed to the ongoing debate on the euro area crisis.
